New editors should be aware there are many scripts and extensions that editors use to assist with editing that not only make some jobs easier, but verifies what we do is correct.
The use of these scripts is highly encouraged and those listed below are the ones you should install, at a minimum, to get started.
You will need a browser extension to install and manage these user scripts, please install the appropriate one below for your browser.

The most common and supported browser for editing Waze maps is Chrome, with Firefox being a close second.
Install the appropriate manager for your browser. This is needed to install other scripts.

Also note that some scripts exist in Chrome as a browser Extension. Add the Chrome Extension instead of installing the script to TamperMonkey.

4) WME Color Highlights (WMECH) | This script adds color highlighting to segments and landmarks according to their status and type or other criteria. 5) Waze Edit Count Monitor | Adds an edit count to the header at the top right of the screen with the WME buttons. Updates after each save. Warns if you might be throttled (saves without edit count increase). | EC Monitor | |
6) WME Speedhelper | WME Speedhelper has made inputting speed data easy, with the use of handy speedsign images. You just need to select one or more segments and click the speed you want. If a segment isn't yet verified, don't worry, these checkboxes will be automatically checked. | SpeedHelper | |

8) UR Overview Plus (URO+) | URO+ adds a URO+ tab in the left-hand panel to provide various filtering options to URs, MPs, and cameras. It also modifies UR icons, and provides optional pop-ups on the map with various details, and links. | URO+ (Chrome) | URO+ (Firefox) |
9) URComments Enhance (URC-E) | This script streamlines the process of responding to Update Requests. It enhances the UR icons to show their status at a glance, and can also filter by status. It generates comments based on UR type and days since last response, or you can manually choose from a list of comments.
